A historic day for Peru Lacrosse as we took another decisive step to Olympic recognition. In a meaningful meeting with Peru Olympic Committee President Renzo Manyari, Peru Lacrosse Association President Katherine Loh spoke about the history of lacrosse in Peru, gains made the development of the sport, as well as the competitive record of our men’s and women’s national teams. President Manyari was presented with a 2018 World Championship game stick and the inaugural Sixes Cup Peru game ball. These historical artifacts will now reside in the COP museum. There is more work to be done for Peru Lacrosse’s Olympic recognition but today was a good day. Vamos Peru!
