Founded in 2012, the Peru Lacrosse Association (PLAX) is the National Governing Body of lacrosse in Peru. Since our founding, PLAX has been dedicated to overseeing the development of lacrosse across diverse regions and advancing elite athletes through our National Teams. Our Women’s and Men’s National Teams compete in both the Sixes and field lacrosse disciplines.
With active club teams in Lima, Arequipa, and Moquegua, PLAX is committed to growing lacrosse at all levels, from youth participation to competitive play.
Peru Lacrosse has been a full voting member of World Lacrosse, the international governing body of lacrosse, since 2019. PLAX is also a founding member of the Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA), the continental federation of lacrosse in the Pan-American region, since 2019.

Driving nationwide growth, building National Teams, and pursuing Olympic recognition ahead of LA28.
